In June 2023, a roof of the amphitheater of the Municipal Theater in Most was successfully completed. The membrane structure has been specially designed to provide protection from the sun and rain above the stage, while making the entire space a visual attraction. The author of the design is Carl Stahl & spol.; the calculation was carried out using the programs RFEM 5 and RWIND 2.
In 2022, the event area of the breathtaking "Harzdrenalin" attraction was given an elegant canvas roof made of three membranes. This lightweight structure is intended to protect visitors from sun and rain.
The Ems Canal Bridge (KBr), built in the 1930s, will be renovated at DEK-km 78.806N as part of the German Dortmund-Ems Canal (DEK) expansion effort. A double half-through bridge is planned for the new structure, where construction will begin while the shipment is in progress.
You can experience spectacular roller coaster rides on Germany's first Big Dipper Coaster (since May 2019). Since its opening, the approximately 131-foot-high and 547-yard-long coaster has been one of the main attractions in the Plohn amusement park in Vogtland, Saxony.
Skywalk Allgäu is a path with a length of about 1,640 ft, installed at a height of 49 to 98 ft above ground, leading through the treetops of the Allgäu Alps. The path construction, built at approximately 3,281 ft above sea level, consists of cable-stayed and suspension bridge constructions. It is supported by 14 towers guyed with cables. The central point and major tourist attraction is the lookout tower, which is 164 ft high, offering visitors a wonderful view over the Alps, the Prealps, and Lake Constance.
In summer 2012, the first Czech treetop walkway opened in Lipno in the presence of Václav Klaus, then President of the Czech Republic. A path 2,214 ft in length leads to a major tourist attraction: the tree tower.
On the top platform, at a height of 131 ft, visitors can enjoy the wonderful view from the wooden lookout over Šumava National Park and Lipno Dam on the Vltava River. In the center, the tower includes a playground slide 170.6 ft in length, representing the longest closed slide in the Czech Republic.
